Currency Management

Currency Management tab

The table below explains the buttons in the Currency Management tab on the ribbon.

Button Function
Save button Save changes in the open currency deck whose tab is currently-selected. Click the arrow below the Save button and select Save All to save changes in all of the decks that are open.
Add button

Creates a new currency deck (see Create a new currency deck).

Folders can be inserted to organize the currency decks: click the arrow below the Add button and select Folder.
Open button Opens the selected currency deck.
Rename button Renames the selected currency deck.
Paste button Paste: Select a folder and use this action to copy or move a deck in that folder.
Cut button Cuts the selected deck. Select a folder and use Paste to move the deck into that folder.
Copy button Copies the selected deck. Select a folder and use Paste to create a copy of the deck in that folder; deck names must be unique so you will be prompted to input a new name.
Unlock button Opens a screen where you can unlock decks that are currently being edited (see Unlock currency decks).
Export Currency Deck button Export one or more currency decks to a '.XEFC' file.
Import Currency Deck button Import currency decks from a '.XEFC' file.

Currency Deck Home tab

The table below explains the buttons in the Currency Deck Home tab on the ribbon.

Button Function
Save button Save changes in the open currency deck whose tab is currently-selected.
Revisions drop-down Opens the list of revisions for the selected open currency deck. Select a different revision to view it in the editor; only the 'Latest' revision can be changed.
History button Opens the Currency Deck History window where you can view the history of changes made to the currency deck, including who made the change and when (see View history of changes).
Annual button Semi-Annual button Quarterly button Monthly button Set the periodicity of the currency deck: Annual, Semi-annual, Quarterly, or Monthly.
Currency Deck Settings button Currency Deck Settings: Opens a dialog where you can select which currencies will be included in the deck, and which currency will be the Base currency.
Fill Down button Fill Down: Copies the selected cell value to all cells below it.
Paste button Paste: Inserts a copied value into the selected cell.
Copy button Copy: Makes a copy of the selected cell value; use Paste to insert the value into a different cell.
